Local Car Wash Giving Free Washes In Exchange For Harden Jerseys

·

·

There are few bonds stronger than that of a local sports team and its fans. A car wash in Houston is making that point clearly by offering up free car washes for anyone willing to trade in their James Harden jersey. Harden was part of a four-team mega-trade that saw him shipped to the Brooklyn Nets, and it doesn’t seem like many in Houston will miss him.

Here’s some of what fans willing to ditch their jersey for a clean car had to say about him.

·Dixie Hernandez – “(He) gave up on the team. He gave up on the fans more importantly. He’s a quitter.”

·Mikaeel Quresham – “We lost memorable players like Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook. We had a good team. He forced them off because he didn’t want to share the ball, and now we’re paying for it.”

Mikaeel’s dad, Zishan, owns the I Car Wash and says he’s equally heartbroken and wants to share in the city’s pain with his jersey-for-car-wash promotion.

·It’s also worth noting that Harden has a restaurant in Houston called Thirteen. Now, some are wondering what the future holds for the place, though Harden’s publicist says it’ll “still be opening at the end of this month” to provide “top-notch service and a one-of-a-kind dining experience to Houston.” We’ll have to wait and see if Houston’s interested.
