Kanye West Goes Off On Drake For Following Wife On Instagram Amid Feud

Petty has a new nickname, and it's Drake apparently.

Last night (December 29), the Canadian rapper had Kanye West in his feelings after his fellow rap rival learned he'd been following his wife Kim Kardashian on Instagram for months without his knowing.

"I never knew till this morning that Drake followed my wife on Instagram back in September," Ye wrote in the first of many since-deleted tweets obtained via screenshots, adding, "I had to bring this up because it’s the most f***ed up thing of all and I just saw it this morning."

"Imagine having a problem with somebody and they follow your wife on Instagram," West went on before closing his rant on a surprisingly civil note on behalf of he and his wife. "We truly wish this man the best and pray that he will find the same happiness that we have. … Love everyone."

(In an update: Ye can sleep peacefully now as Drake has since unfollowed Kim on the platform.)

West's comments come after he went on yet another Twitter tirade earlier this month claiming the "God's Plan" star had threatened his family and dissed him in his raps on the track "SICKO MODE." Ye also accused Drake of playing nice toward Kim's mother, Kris Jenner — who he does follow on Instagram — as a way of toying with him as well.

This all stems from the ongoing tension that's been brewing between the lyricists since the summer, having argued over everything from Drizzy's secret son to his beef with Pusha T. What's more, the back-and-forth became so extreme that Drake allegedly had to beef up his home security for fear of retaliation.

Even so, West has since regretted — despite withdrawing apologies — his involvement in the mess, but of course, it's anyone's guess when these two will bury the hatchet for good.
