No matter where you are in the world, there's always one person you can count on to make you feel right at home and that's Ellen DeGeneres! Child photographer Ute-Christin Cowan feels this on a personal level because when she moved from Germany to Connecticut 17 years ago, she always found comfort in watching the show. Ute wanted to pay tribute to her favorite talk show host by having a super cute cake smash photo shoot!
She made her vision come to life by having a little girl that she worked with before play the role of Ellen. There was everything from an Ellen-themed backdrop, Twitch in the DJ booth, colorful balloons, and an Ellen Funko Pop toy to join the party! Ute told POPSUGAR:
"Being a child photographer and a huge Ellen fan, I've always wanted to do something special to honor my little obsession. It's always good to remind people to be kind to one another, especially these days. It took a few months of planning this out, but I love how the photo shoot really came together."
