Nicki Minaj had quite the Sunday after numbers for the first week of her new album "Queen" were released online. Unfortunately, her album didn't perform as she had hoped as it came in at the number 2 spot while Travis Scott's "Astroworld" held firm at the number one spot. Trav went on to sell 205,000 copies respectively in his second week while Nicki went on to sell 185,000 copies.
Now while both Trav and Nicki have been bundling up their album with merch, tour tickets etc, Nicki seemed to take aim at Travis Scott as well as Kylie Jenner and his daughter Stormi to explain why her album came in second this week.
Taking to twitter Nicki said:
"I put my blood sweat & tears in writing a dope album only for Travis Scott to have Kylie Jenner post a tour pass telling ppl to come see her & Stormi. lol. Im actually laughing. #Queen broke the record of being number 1 in 86 countries. Thank Jesus & thank you to my fans."
Later on, she seemed to retract everything saying all her tweets were "sarcasm and dry humor":
"People are calling me thinking I’m huffing & puffing. Omg y’all this is sarcasm/dry humor. Yikes. I’m having the most iconNIC time. Come let me kiss you. 😩😘😘😘 Who’s coming to the secret show? When people call me & hear me crackin up laughing they seem so puzzled. Loosen up 😅"
