The End is Near For Urban Meyer at Ohio State

“Urban Meyer couldn’t handle the decline of his program at Florida so he ran away from coaching there... Now, Urban has seen the future, knows Jim Harbaugh’s program is on ascendence and that his program is on the decline, and he’s gonna run out of Columbus before he starts getting his a** regularly kicked.”

-- Clay Travis.

After narrowing edging bottom of the barrel cellar dwelling Nebraska on Saturday, Clay Travis says the suddenly slothful Buckeyes look like a train about to go off the rails in massive rivalry games this month, led by a head coach who has already checked out.

Clay thinks the Buckeyes are not only going to get humiliated by double-digits against no. 5 ranked Michigan on November 24th, but he also has the Buckeyes penciled in for a loss this weekend in East Lansing against an unranked, yet very dangerous Michigan State team.

Travis thinks the season is about to unravel for Ohio State the same way it did for Meyer in his final season at Florida when the Gators went 8-5 after back-to-back 13-1 seasons with Tim Tebow. Travis sees glaring parallels between Meyer’s aloof state of mind in 2010 compared to now and thinks Meyer will once again be moving on from another high profile job at season's end.
