Movie theaters around New York State have been closed since March, but that will all change this Friday. Over the weekend Governor Cuomo gave the green light for cinemas to open their doors for the first time in 7 months.
Scotia Cinema, which is locally owned, is ready to go. In a post on Facebook they say they have new safety measures in place and will have two showings of the new movie 'The War With Grandpa' starring Robert De Niro.
Show times are 4:15 and 7pm.
During the pandemic, Scotia Cinema was selling take-out popcorn, which they will continue to do.
