Major colleges and universities in Texas are banning all non-essential travel to China.
The University of Houston, Rice, Baylor College of Medicine, UT Health, the University of Texas and Texas A&M have announced limitation to travel.
U of H is prohibiting all travel to Wuhan and Hubei, where the coronavirus originated.
Some schools recommending travel restriction, some outright prohibiting. Rice suspending all university sponsored traffic. Ut and A&M are restricting undergrads but allowing staff and graduate students to travel with prior approval.
There are five confirmed cases of coronavirus in the US - none in Texas. All test have come back negative.
